Three art fairs, Frieze London, Cork Street Galleries, and 180 Studios\u2019 LUX exhibition, are showcasing new ways to connect the digital and physical world. These creators are using technology to accentuate traditional forms of art and develop the craft of tech art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Frieze London took place from Oct. 13 to 17 in London; the art fair dazzled with exciting new displays that used complex tech to create interactive exhibits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Amongst these electric works, Tokyo\/London-based artistic duo A.A. Murakami debuted \u201cSilent Fall<em>\u201d<\/em>, a sensory experience in a futuristic view of nature. Viewers entered an otherworldly environment with a seemingly endless forest of white lamp posts that extended to the mirrored walls. Milky bubbles floated through the air, and if you ventured to pop one, you would have been greeted by a foresty scent (moss, rain, or pine).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-2.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"387\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-2.jpg?resize=580%2C387&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-102766\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-2.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-2.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-2.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The goal of the exhibit was to show that life is short but beautiful. To illuminate this point, the artists have pioneered a larger body of work called \u201cEphemeral Tech,\u201d which are installations that use complex technology to recreate nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Depicting nature through technology is a theme that is shared in 180 Studios\u2019 LUX exhibition. This art show is being held from 13 Oct. to 18 Dec. and has already begun to rally intense feelings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">One such exhilarating work is \u201cFlower Meadow\u201d by iart studio. This piece uses synthetic flowers that are fed by artificial intelligence. Each day these flowers develop new colours and shapes in order to depict nature\u2019s never-ending cycle of life and death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-4.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"387\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-4.jpg?resize=580%2C387&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-102778\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-4.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-4.jpg?resize=300%2C200&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-4.jpg?resize=768%2C512&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Change is something that is also presented by London-based artist Es Devlin in \u201cBLUESKYWHITE\u201d. This installation is a vertical monolith where viewers enter via a 24-metre light tunnel that changes from blue to white through speculative future sunset hues. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-1.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"773\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-1.jpg?resize=580%2C773&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-102756\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-1.jpg?w=768&amp;ssl=1 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-1.jpg?resize=225%2C300&amp;ssl=1 225w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">Essentially, the experience is meant to simulate a hypothetical solution to global warming that involves turning the sky white. In this emotional exhibit, audiences are confronted with the death of their blue sky.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The very idea of emotions is being explored by Korean artist Je Baak in \u201cUniverse\u201d. In a video, Baak presents an organism composed of amusement park rides drifting through space. The piece is meant to question A.I.\u2019s capacity to understand human emotions through cause and effect. It is about defining the difference between humans and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-5.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"580\" height=\"170\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-5.jpg?resize=580%2C170&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-102774\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-5.jpg?w=1024&amp;ssl=1 1024w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-5.jpg?resize=300%2C88&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/staging.centmagazine.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/The-Craft-of-Tech-Art-5.jpg?resize=768%2C225&amp;ssl=1 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 580px) 100vw, 580px\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-secondary-color has-text-color wp-block-paragraph\">The complexity of A.I. is also being investigated and presented by Random International in \u201cAlgorithmic Swarm Study\u201d. Their display is made up of three screens that show a synchronized swarm zipping around. This exhibit uses the Acute Art phone app to display hidden art pieces throughout the city.
