Though we work digitally for most part of our time, we do love to carry a nifty notebook in our bags, and\u00a0truly enjoy writing and sketching. Here’re a few interesting ones that caught our eye and might inspire you to update your stationery collection.<\/p>\n

Magma <\/strong>

Laurence King Publishing<\/a> and Magma have teamed up to produce three Magma Sketchbooks designed with the creative in mind. Printed on eco-friendly paper, the series comprises Design & Art Direction, Art & Illustration and Fashion, each with a beautiful new design for 2014. These sketchbooks tread that fine line between giving users practical tools and information while not interfering with their creative freedom. All three books have three page holder ribbons and customisable contents pages and stickers, which all help to make it easier for designers, illustrators and other creatives to organise their work.<\/p>\n

Smythson<\/strong>

For Valentine\u2019s Day, British luxury brand Smythson<\/a> launched their limited edition keepsakes of Valentine\u2019s flip books in quintessential British style. The \u2018Catch Me If You Can\u2019 flip book resonates admiration \u2013 a beautiful tribute to the holiday in traditional intrepid red. Bound in supple cross-grain calf-leather, whimsical characters from original hand-painted cards from 1900 are restored and recreated in a nostalgic flip book, projecting a charming scene of a miniature falling red heart.<\/p>\n

The second of the duo, affectionately named \u2018Head Over Heels,\u2019 is inspired by \u2018Le Chauffeur\u2019 \u2013 the iconic silver pepper pot featured in Smythson\u2019s catalogues from 1909 as an engraved drawing. Beautifully brought to life, the character literally falls in love; tumbling down each page with red love hearts swiftly following him. Three of England\u2019s foremost luxury hotels synonymous with thoughtful service \u2013 The Dorchester, 45 Park Lane and Coworth Park \u2013 have collaborated with Smythson to launch an exclusive keepsake for those who are \u2018Head Over Heels\u2019 this February.<\/p>\n

Paperchase<\/strong>

This stunning hand-stitched journal is from Paperchase’s Taking Tea collection. The teapot and teacup design is decorated with beautiful beading detail. With 125 sheets (250 pages) of ruled white paper, it is perfect for recording those moments of inspiration which often happen when having a cup of tea. With stitched binding, the book opens easily and lies flat. Mini notebook collection with inspirations from the sea and a quirky lobster are stylish with a nautical feel. These are part of the Anchors Ahoy collection. <\/p>\n

Custhom<\/strong>

How about jotting down notes in a notebook with an embroidered cover? Sounds appealing? It does to us. We found that Custhom<\/a> has gone digital and pushed the boundaries of creativity to come up with a striking set of 32 page notebooks in blue, red, yellow stitching and matching inside cover. Made in Britain using the GF Smith stock with saddle-stitched seams, the ‘Goldsmiths’ collection are lovely and the embroidery on the cover provides a tactile surface and shot of accent colour, complimented by the interior.
