A picture, we know, tells a thousand tales, but it also gives insight into taste and smell. Luke Edward Hall is an English artist and designer, who loves to tell stories through his art. Known for his collaboration with Burberry, Lanvin, Christie\u2019s, and the Royal Academy of Arts, his latest project is with luxury Italian porcelain company Ginori 1735. Ginori was the name of the eighteenth-century Marquis Carlo Andrea Ginori who launched the future Manifattura di Doccia in Doccia, in the villa of the family estate. Known for the exquisite table and homeware, from its earliest days to now the tradition is still to turn porcelain into beautiful objects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke Edward Hall is a London-based designer and artist whose colourful aesthetic is informed by a love of history and a sense of playfulness, often explored via stories from life and his imagination whimsically presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These two giants have come together in celebration of place and scent. Profumi Luchino is the new Ginori 1735 home fragrance collection, which includes five fragrances to take you on magical journies to some of the artist’s favourite places. Also, a nod is made to the apothecaries of Italian cities where herbs and medicines can still be found. Starting with:- <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rajathra Palace, Rajasthan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Man Singh II was the ruling Maharaja of the princely state of Jaipur, the magical pink city from 1922 to 1947. He embarked on a programme of modernisation, creating infrastructure and founding numerous public institutions that would later result in Jaipur being selected as the capital of Rajasthan. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Maharaja left his palace for Monaco in 1948, his crumbling home was closed. Its majestic rooms were nonetheless cleaned and polished every day, and its legendary rose gardens were watered and cared for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A guard is still posted on the ramparts, watching over the winding entrance avenue, at the same time hoping to see a cloud of dust, raised by a procession on horseback. Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II palace is now a Museum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His retreat in the hills of Rajasthan is the story behind this candle, with Rose and patchouli, sensual spices and a sultry animalic scent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rajathra Palace Fragrance is a floral spicy scent, with light soft Cardamon and Coriander seed to open which is followed by more spice with notes of Clove and Cinnamon Bark sitting with of course the magical Rose. Siting finally in light wood of Sandalwood earthy patchouli and finished off with, smoky, spicy styrax.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next comes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Gazelle d’Or, Marrakech<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those areas in north African cities are historical quarters known as medinas that are typically walled, with many narrow and maze-like streets. Here this next candle celebrates just such a location think, dappled light that breaks through the stone walls. The scents of Mint tea and Geranium oil, meet with heady Moroccan Rose, that all fill the twisted labyrinth streets, filled with pleasures. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Gazelle d\u2019Or Fragrance has an unusual floral-herbal meeting opening with bright Spearmint, that makes its way toward Geranium with Rose for aids its floral facet and delicate green tea finishing with soft white musk, white moss and cedarwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The third in the series takes us on a journey to <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Palazzo Centauro, Venice<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Santa Maria Della Salute is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located at Punta Della Dogana in the Dorsoduro sestiere of the city of Venice. It is in the area of Venice where the Grand Canal meets the Giudecca Canal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inside a crumbling palace that also sits on the same waterfront is a cedarwood chest. Here the Contessa, confined to the attics of her palace, opens her trunk. Inside is a strip of shining silk and up wafts Italian bergamot, patchouli, and a whisper of smoke. From the window, the scent of the sea finds its way in reminding her of the church next door where melted candle wax falls onto wood and the air is filled with smokey incense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"\"<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The Palazzo Centauro fragrance is a woody incense scent opening with bright Italian Bergamot,  lemony-pine with facets of incense from Olibanum and part fixative part balsamic-spicy Elemi, finishing off with Birch tar earthy Patchouli and soft woody Cedarwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4th up is <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rain Rock Creek,  Big Sur California<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Big Sir this arena in the USA is a rugged and mountainous section of the Central Coast that rises abruptly from the Pacific Ocean frequently praised for its dramatic scenery with a most scenic stretch of undeveloped coastline. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here the candle is the coming alive, in scent, of a forest cabin on Big Sur. Cedar, cypress, balsam fir and coriander, with herbal hints of wormwood and thyme. a Fougere fragrance at its most verdant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is dawn. A ray of sunlight filters into the wooden bungalow, and lengthens on the floor. In the vast canyon outside, the dry leaves are scrunched underfoot. And in the distance, through the trees, you can just hear the crashing of the waves at the water\u2019s edge \u2013 the deep blue of the Pacific.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening with Cypress sea salt and Coriander seed, bringing a fresh cool and at the same time warm breeze whilst in the middle find more woody spice with White Thyme Cinnamon bark and Wormwood
which all collides at the end with Cedarwood Fir balsam and Moss. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally in the perfumed candle is Fox Thicket Folly <\/strong>a woody smokey ensemble of the Cotswold.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fox Thicket Folly, a Gothic Building in the quintessential woods of the Cotswolds. It’s like imagining a classic Agatha Christie Novel, think gothic folly, warmed by a crackling fire. The scent of woodsmoke, cedar, patchouli and tobacco.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is autumn. At the heart of a wood engulfed in mist stands the silhouette of a fantastic Gothic building, a \u201ccaprice\u201d: it is Fox Thicket Folly. Inside, a large deserted room is illumined by the warm glow of the candles and the fire crackling in the hearth. There are piles and piles of books all around. Meanwhile, in the garden behind the house, the gardener has lit a bonfire. In this ancient woodland, something will happen tonight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Opening with the intrigue of unexpected Saffron with black Tea which mingles with Tobacco and Cypriol brings a woody earthy layer whilst the base allows for deep notes of Birch Tar, Cedarwood Virginian Oakwood and earthy sexy Patchouli. As riveting as the best murder mystery novel to read by the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each of the candles is made from molten wax encased in a porcelain pot decorated by hand . as well as this each of the perfumes is accompanied by a porcelain trinket a plate, a tray something from the Home Decor collection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
