Founded by two seasoned beauty professionals, Greg and Joanne Starkman, the brand was born out of a desire to create clean, pure, and organic hair care products. A brand built from true passion and love of their profession and also, developed around caring and joy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Their journey began in 2005, driven by a shared passion for health, hair, beauty, and the planet. It took them years of dedication to develop a line of products free from \u2018dirty\u2019 ingredients such as parabens, silicones, sulphates and synthetic fragrances. It is their personal lives that draw so much of the love and joy into the brand. The founders’ daughter Morgan was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome at 22 months old, their key way to help ensure she has the best life was advice they were given, \u201ctrust your inner sense.\u201d hence the name of the brand. She works for the brand as Director of Joy. The role is embodied by her, she brings her own infectious enthusiasm and positivity to the brand. Soak hair with warm water before shampooing, really let the hair get nice and socked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Start shampooing at the root we usually start at the bottom but far better to begin at top.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scrub your scalp, not your hair, after all, that is where the oil and build-up starts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rinse and repeat if necessary clean your hair twice only if you need to<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rinse shampoo thoroughly, and wash that product out of your hair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Apply conditioner on the bottom half of the hair again the conditioner is for the hair, not the scalp, if you want to look after your scalp use specific products for this<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rinse the conditioner with cold water, not warm or hot water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
