Sadly we can’t visit others’ dreams, thoughts and subcious thoughts, but if you want to get an idea of where the creator of the perfume brand Bibbi, Swedish-born creative designer Stina Bibbi Seger goes, you just need to spend some time with her delightful elixirs. All are housed in glass with a signature vivid deep Klein-blue box and label so we know she dreams in blue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Co-founded with her husband, Jan Vilhelm Ahlgren, BIBBI Parfum invites us on an olfactory adventure, a journey into the depths of her subconscious, which she manages to reach via meditation. \u00a0Because it is where she reaps the ideas for her scents. Each fragrance is inspired by stories and \u2018dreamlike\u2019 encounters she had whilst being in a meditative state; her subconscious state of mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While practicing meditation, Bibbi can transport her consciousness to another dimension. In this dimension, she meets extraordinary characters with fascinating stories. Her most intense and profound connections with other beings occur there, always surrounded by a deep Klein-blue universe. Therefore her perfume collection is woven from the tales and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Initial favourites in the collection from its earliest days include the much-adored Ghost of Tom,<\/a> which opens with fresh Bergamot, Mate and Blackcurrant with a heart of tea and violets with notes of Ceylon Black Tea and Violet leaves, that fall into a base of Birch tree papyrus and Black Amber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Or Radio Child <\/a>with Black Pepper at its opening flowed by a heart of Jasmine and fig leaves that collide in its base with Cashmere woods Oalmoss and salted Musk<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All the scents tie together as a tight collection, difficult to do but the collection is totally unified and the two newest scents do not disappoint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meet Swimming Pool and Rainbow Rose. The fragrance Swimming Pool i<\/a>s based on the idea of a natural swimming pool, one surrounded by herbs that with one dip in, brings healing to the mind body and soul. Swim deep from the dark water underneath and rise to the top to the bright sunlight. Feel the cool water and herbs linger on the skin as though a healing has coated the body.<\/p>\n\n\n

It was during one of Stina\u2019s meditation practices, that she was transported to a natural swimming pool in the south of Italy, believed to have healing powers. Herbs surrounded it, and the water and air were thick with a beautiful scent of Basil and Mint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bright vibrant awakening Ginger, Basil and Spearmint hit for a vital opening, with freshness continuing in a heart of green lightness via Eucalyptus and Geranium. All the bright cool openings and heart notes are tempered by sexy Ambroxan, Wet Grass, White and Blond Woods with crips Amber to wrap this healing yet heightened addictive scent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rainbow Rose comes from a very different meditation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI found myself meditating in the Vatican. The morning sun hit one of the prisms in the old side windows, and a rainbow appeared, crossing the room. At the end of the rainbow, I found a book with a red rose embroidered on the spine. When I opened the book, a divine rose scent hit the room. I read the first page, gently closed the book again, and put it back.\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ingredient sitting as the very star is the queen of flowers The Regal Rose Centifloria offers up her sweet, honey-like facets, which mingle here with an opening trail of delicate Pink Freesias and Magnolia. The addictive Rose at the scent’s heart intertwines with elegant Skin Musks bringing sexy ‘skin notes’ before cascading down into a lingering trail of rooty-powdery Orris Butter, Ambroxan and encasing Cashmere woods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand utilises ancient philosophies that converge with AI. Stina’s dreamscapes merge with curing edge technologies, as the images created to go with the scents (all in blue, of course) are created with AI for this new fragrance experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
