Perfumers know more now than ever as to which smells affect which parts of our brains, and which emotions these specific smells are in reaction with.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perfume ingredients companies like IFF (International Flavors & Fragrance) have been collecting over five billion data points so that they could scientifically measure the way thousands of fragrance notes impacted different people, discovering how they shape our emotions.<\/p>\n\n\n

With two different types of test \u2013 an UNCONSCIOUS study into emotion (how we respond to specific scents) and a CONSCIOUS user study (based on what you say about how the scent makes you feel), these five billion data points were inputted into the IFF SCENTCUBE™ ALGORITHM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
