Just as Champagne cannot be called by the name Champagne,<\/a> if it is not made in the Champagne region, so it is for other drinks, with their own set of rules.. It’s a similar rule for spirits Gins, Tequillas, Whiskies, Vodkas and Rums. Some rules have to be adhered to in order to call certain alcohols by their names. So if they run amock of those rules, then they cannot be called by traditional names.<\/p>\n\n\n

So when you have a low-alcohol or non-alcoholic drink what on earth do you call it? Well up until now not a lot really just low\/non-alcohol drinks because it’s either a beer wine or something general in way of non-distinct ‘spirit’. The idea of a specific non-alcoholic drink just didn’t exist. If you wanted a non-spirit Margarita, let’s be honest there wouldn’t be much in your glass except for a bit of lime, salt and ice, and possibly a bit of some rather vague botanical idea of what something with a kick should taste like. <\/p>\n\n\n

If you choose not to drink spirits for a variety of reasons and there are many, the idea of either replacing a loved G&T or favourite cocktail has just not been an option. Because the options just were rather poor. As well as the fact that you can’t just call anything Gin.<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Never feel left out at the party, enjoy any amount of cocktails<\/a> still have fun but go home with a clear head. Or if you don\u2019t drink alcohol no you don\u2019t need to be reduced to a juice or bad \u2018mocktail\u2019 <\/p>\n\n\n\n
