Let’s not talk about it, don’t mention the smell, it’s just too embarrassing. The bits in between, pits, tighs and our ‘lady parts’ do smell, sometimes good sometimes not so good, let’s not mention it in polite company. But why are we so quiet on this? So let’s do something about it and talk out loud and proud about our bits in between. Out things that rub together on hot days (or even cool ones) our underarms using natural deodorants just don’t seem to quite cut it and then there is the whole boob sweat thang…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s funny how we discuss most of our personal issues and problems with our friends but when it comes to ‘over-glowing’ it’s not part of polite society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember the saying goes, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ladies ‘Glow’ and Gentleman ‘Perspire’ and Horses ‘Sweat’ <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And that just says it all. It’s not polite for any woman <\/a>to be excessive in their odour output. Why do we put these boundaries on ourselves? And how come there are just no products to help?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So one woman talked about her frustration but rather than just moaning about it she started her brand to deal with all of these issues. When Katie Sturino first launched her brand Megababe in 2017, not only were people not discussing the issues but there were no good products out there to help. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So let’s start by understanding why we express liquid from under our arms. Sweating is an essential part of life for humans. Without the ability to sweat, our bodies would be without its most important cooling mechanism. Did you even know that there are actually two to four million sweat glands located all over the body. Eccrine glands, located on the foot soles, palms, forehead, cheeks and armpits, secrete an odourless, clear fluid that helps promote heat loss through evaporation. Apocrine glands, found in the armpits and genital region, produce a thick fluid that produces body odour when mixed with bacteria on the skin\u2019s surface. Both eccrine and apocrine glands are activated by nerve responses to stimuli such as heat, hormones, emotions or exercise. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
