It is fair to say the one of the most famous and loved stores in the world is London based Harrods, a shop where the best of the best is on offer, and it is a wonderland of treasures. To be a brand present at this most majestic store means being stitched into the most regal of fabrics. The newest name to reach its hallowed halls is perfumer Marc-Antoine Barrois. Actually if talking about this man, it is unfair to call him a perfumer. He is more a marathon man; a renaissance man who is multi skilled. He melds perfumes clothes and jewellery. His grandfather<\/a> was textile industrialist in northern France, and this was part of his heritage he explored in the first part of his career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his fashion career he worked with important and high profile designers such as Hubert De Givenchy <\/a>and with Jean Paul Gaultier <\/a>whilst at Herm\u00e8s. From here he moved in to the world of tailored couture, knowing for him the unique creativity was where his heart lay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Things took an unexpected turn in his thirties that he met perfumer Quentin Bisch<\/a>; a meeting of one spirit split in two. Together they have journeyed through the creation of six fragrances. And not unlike his clothes these are stand alone unique almost couture like scents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting of these two creators bought into life scents that are green woody lush and voluminous. Heady rich and made for those who truly love and understand perfumes; the are divinity bottled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The six scents fall into categories, Eaux De Parfum and Extrait.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

B683 EDP<\/a> was the first perfume of the house in 2016, dark, spicy, and with an explosive silage and just a hint of sweetness. An elegant gentlemen of a fragrance, but this one is unisex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It opens with a bold blast of Black Pepper Chilli Nutmeg and the regal note of Saffron, these ‘cool’ spices waking up our joyous senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The amber heart is stitched together with earthy ‘watery-greenness’ of Violet leaf, woody warm Labdanum alongside a warming musk that melds this potions heart. Within the potion also find a subtle leather accord.<\/p>\n\n\n

Its finale is woody earthy greenness with woody lush greens of Oakmoss, earthy Patchouli musky wood and animalic notes of Ambroxan and soft hints of sweetness milky woods from Sandalwood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The whole scent engulfs and gives off an almost skin-like, soft smoke and a leathery facet . The trail is magnificent, rich and it is a statement of an elixir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also available as an extrait<\/a> not a repeat but an expanding of the EDP, with exotic notes of Green Apple, Oud from Loas, Leather, Patchouli and Vanilla. The similar vision but exploded out.

The other scent in the collection in both EDP and Extrait is Ganymede.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a Woody Spicy fragrance for women and men launched in 2019. Its note surprise with an opening of elegant warm Saffron with a bright burst alongside of Italian Mandarin. The heart middle notes are the fruity soft floral of Chinese Osmanthus, watery-green of Violet Leaf and the multi factes of sun-warmth hay, pinpricks of tobacco leaves, sweet notes of caramel, maple , a hint of tree sap, a touch of zestiness from the flower Immortelle, giving a soft sweet caressing centre. The depth here in its base round off the sent with notes of Minerals, animalic soft Suede,  <\/strong>warm, woody of Akigalawood, caressing Musk, with wood and earth from both Cedar and Patchouli. A sexy addictive skin meets leather meets smoke meets wood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Extrait <\/a>again echoes but with new notes and upped levels. Here it open with a bust of Immortelle and also includes resinous biblical Myrrh and brightness of Mandarin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also included in the collection of EDP<\/a>‘s is Tilia <\/a>a scent of everlasting summer, luminous and from floral to smokey with Lime Broom Jasmine, alongside Vetiver Heliotrope Georgywood and Ambrofix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And lastly in the fragrance collection comes Encelade and fruity smokey scent made up of Rhubarb to open with Atlas Ceder rooty-raw Vetiver animalic Leather, alongside the choco-vanilla of Tonka Bean and soft wood of Sandalwood. A sweet hit in amongst earth leather and smoke.<\/p>\n\n\n

Now where this not enough there are also scented candles in the range. No Iv, VI and VIII. All dreamlike one woody and leathery one honeyed and smokey and the last with carrot Lavender and Iris. Each comes in three sizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
