Sponsored by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.db.com\/unitedkingdom\/\" target=\"_blank\">Deutsche Bank<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alexandermcqueen.com\/gb\/alexandermcqueen\" target=\"_blank\">Alexander McQueen<\/a> it brings \u2013 for the eleventh year in a row- 162 of the leading galleries and artists from 25 different countries to the UK.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, to the basic programme, Frieze also introduces \u2018Live\u2019, a new gallery section for performance-based installations and \u2018Focus\u2019, a section dedicated to galleries for up to 12 year olds with works specifically made for the fair.<\/p>\n<p>Deputy Director Joanna Stella-Sawicka said: \u2018Live is a major new initiative that shows Frieze\u2019s commitment to featuring the most ambitious and experimental art being made today. We\u2019ve always helped galleries to realise works that capture visitors\u2019 imaginations and allow people to participate. With Live we will be integrating an important part of Frieze\u2019s history into the fabric of the fair, seeing where galleries are breaking new ground and supporting them in that venture.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>We at .Cent summed up the highlights of this fair in a little preview &#8211; art exhibitions and performances to look forward to:<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.marlboroughfineart.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Marlborough Fine Art<\/a> &#8211; One-Man exhibition of Francis Bacon at <a href=\"http:\/\/friezemasters.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Frieze Masters<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The exhibition at the\u00a0Frieze Masters stand is dedicated to the work of Francis Bacon of which the centre will be one of Bacon\u2019s most important and celebrated works. It will be exhibited alongside works covering different periods of Bacon\u2019s artistic oeuvre, never before seen correspondence and photographs and press material from his very first shows and will feature unpublished archival material documenting the longstanding relationship with Marlborough that began in October 1958 when Bacon joined the gallery.<\/p>\n<p>This exhibition gives the public an insight view into one of the world&#8217;s leading painters.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.houseofthenobleman.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">House of the Nobleman<\/a> <\/strong>&#8211; <strong>LIGHT FANTASTIC<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>People have always been fascinated by light and its transformation; LIGHT FANTASTIC explores art works by leading artists as well as new work by some of today&#8217;s artists such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.troika.uk.com\/\">Troika<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/random-international.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Random International<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timnobleandsuewebster.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Tim Noble &amp;Sue Webster<\/a> and many more.\u00a0Curated by House of the Nobleman director, Victoria Golembiovskaya, LIGHT FANTASTIC is an exhibition in which art has the ability to challenge our perception and stimulate wonder and serene contemplation when it comes to light and light technology. She says:\u00a0<em>\u201cWe are delighted to bring together such a diverse group of inspirational artists and works which truly embrace the immersive and interactive nature of this exciting and dynamic art form.
