Since 1951, Hamilton\u2019s distinctive watches have caught the attention of the world\u2019s leading screen stylists, and has been featured in over 400 films. Using it\u2019s watchmaking knowledge to help movie makers create the perfect watches for their characters, Hamilton returned to the big screen in the Warner Bros and Paramount Pictures movie ‘INTERSTELLAR.’<\/span><\/p>\n

\"unnamed\"<\/a>Directed by Christopher Nolan, time plays a critical role in the movie, and often focuses on weaving through time and space. Hamilton worked hand in hand with the production team, to design a unique Hamilton timepiece for the character Murph (played by Mackenzie Foy and Jessica Chastain), and provided the Khaki Pilot Day Date to outfit Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey). <\/span><\/p>\n

Timepieces have often played a pivotal role in the arts, from film to music, and this is seen in the Swiss family owned and operated watch Company Raymond Weil, which is delighted to present its Music Special Editions and thus further enrich the Brand\u2019s music box with with time pieces that feature musical elements. Raymond Weil worked in close collaboration with three talented artists to give birth to these exclusive E Music Special Edition timepieces.<\/span><\/p>\n

Freelancer Cello Music Special Edition timepiece is a 45mm freelancer, equipped with a mechanical movement with chronograph, day and date complications and a 46 hour power reserve. Its titanium case hosts a grey dial with indexes and sits on a genuine leather strap. This freelancer presents an exhibition case-back featuring the signature of the artists who have collaborated with Raymond Weil on the creation of this Cello Music Special Edition timepiece \u2013cello duet 2Cellos. <\/span><\/p>\n

\"electro\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This Cello Music Special Edition timepiece will benefit 2Cellos\u2019 very own charity that aims at providing easy access to musical instruments and at developing the practice of music. Maestro Guitar Music Special Edition Watch is from the maestro collection and consists of a 39.5mm stainless steel case that houses a bespoke RW4200 mechanical automatic movement, with a 38 hour power reserve. An aperture in the dial highlighted with rose gold plating offers a view on the cogs and intricacies of Raymond Weil\u2019s Swiss made timepiece, and a fine intricate design that recalls the rosette of a guitar beautifully wraps around the inner dial.<\/p>\n

And of course watches are all about new designs and fresh ideas which we see with Slow watches. The cult \u2018single-hand\u2019 24 hour Swiss watch brand, which has announced the launch of the METAL MESH collection, available now.The distinctive unisex collection is available in three unique designs and features a classic Milanese steel mesh strap, first used for watch bracelets in Milan in the 19th century. The Milanese strap gained even more popularity when used to create designer sports watches in the 1980s, giving the collection a timeless, retro feel. Slow watches have a single hand only, displaying 24 hours of the day with the indexes divided every hour into four 15-minute sections. Slow Founders, Chris Noerskau and Corvin Lask, comment: \u2018Slow seconds, is much more than a watch. For wearers, it is a way to live without watching the minutes and the seconds, allowing them to exist in the moment’.<\/p>\n
