In the infinite universe of gardens, hundreds of varieties of Roses flourish, each with its nuances, its form, its mysteries. And yet, in this garden lush with so many possibilities, perfumers choose to explore only two. Because it’s not about quantity, but about essence. For its eLVes creation, Louis Vuitton chose to explore two exceptional Roses: the Bulgarian Rose and the Grasse Centifolia. In this new scented creation by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, flowers become language. And Roses, the regal and universal symbols of femininity, are not content to adorn: They claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

eLVes is not a simple fragrance among many others, it is a voice. That of women<\/a> who advance, who trace their path without waiting for permission. That of all those who transform obstacles into strength. It is a contemporary ode to triumphant femininity, an olfactory exploration of strength, audacity and freedom. This perfume is a statement, a manifesto, and like any manifesto, it goes to the essentials. Two roses, to celebrate one woman.<\/p>\n\n\n

The Bulgarian Rose, majestic and intense, carries within it the millennial tradition of the eastern valleys. It embodies inheritance, nobility of soul, lively and immediate sensuality. Rich and powerful, it evokes greatness, self-affirmation, and passion without compromise. Its scent, sweet, deep, and mellow with honeyed facets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Centifolia, on the other hand, is more secret<\/a>ive. This Rose, more delicate, is expressed, thanks to an exclusive CO2 extraction developed in Grasse. This high-end extraction process makes it possible to extract a pure, authentic and precious version. Velvety, delicate, almost carnal, it brings to the composition a tender breath, more secretive, but just as essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Together, these two Roses do not oppose each other: they complement each other, challenge each other, and sublimate each other. They make up a vibrant, feminine and contrasting duo, an echo to the many facets of those that eLVes celebrates.<\/p>\n\n\n

In the hands of master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, the floral duo becomes a real polyphony. To its round curves are added the crystalline bells of a Lily of the valley; a flower<\/a> long remained “mute” in perfumery, which speaks here thanks to an innovation developed in Grasse. Around this floral heart, the perfume blooms with a luminous fruity facet, carried by Peach, Blackcurrant and a touch of Coconut milk, like so many childhood memories<\/a> in a summer garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Everything is warmed by bright spices; Cinnamon and Ginger; crossed by the luminous amber of Ambroxan, and sealed by a woody Patchouli imprint. A free, vibrant alchemy that does not follow any trend but creates its own wake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
