Mithridate<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Spring\/Summer 2026 Mithridate collection from Creative Director Daniel Fletcher combines 1980s city revelry with British sporting heritage. The transition from town to country is never fully complete, with archetypal clothing from each location striking a new union.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contrasting dress codes of the Sloane Ranger are put together as one. Rugby jerseys are worn with business shirts. Sequins are paired with cotton stripes, and cable knits come layered over wool-silk tailoring. The colour palette of racing green, chocolate brown, baby blue and flecks of lavender speaks to the clash of town and country.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here, the mundane is a means for ritual and self-determination. The monotonous job is an act of service. Conversations with neighbours are cherished for steady constancy rather than substance. Hedges are trimmed because they look nicer that way. X-ray technicians, nurses, soldiers, cement mixers and toilet paper factory workers commute in pops of mint and pink.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In that world, identities fracture and women are shaped by forces outside themselves, caught between the gleam of fantasy and the shadows of disillusion. Wang takes this split as a point of departure, but her heroine refuses to remain trapped in someone else\u2019s script. Instead, she claims authorship of her own story, stepping through the haze of desire and despair with beauty as both weapon and shield.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

From becoming the first Chinese International Ambassador for London Collections: Men in 2015, to attending ten consecutive seasons of shows, Hu Bing has been described by the media as \u201cChina\u2019s Fashion Business Card.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The contradictory notions of containment and freedom are explored; the confines of cage-like silhouettes are contrasted with the liberation of wing-like structures, giving a sense of the models soaring, flitting birdlike around the show space, displaying their plumage in a cacophony of colour. Through sculptural tailoring, Kyle Ho examined the fragility of desire and the impossibility of holding onto what cannot be kept. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The runway unfolds as more than a presentation, but a story. Her Indian roots journey back to her grandmother\u2019s home in Rajasthan after many years. There, she rediscovers her heritage through a time capsule filled with hand-embroidered skirts, woven shawls, and relics of childhood. Each garment became a fragment of memory, reawakened. The choice of Hamleys as the venue was deliberate and poetic. Just as the girl steps back into her childhood, Hamleys invites every visitor to relive their own. <\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThere is this feeling of nostalgia in the collection. This girl goes back to her grandmother\u2019s home after many years, and it evokes these childhood memories. It explores themes of identity and self-expression by tracing the intimate rituals through which we prepare ourselves for the day ahead. Like each edition before it, Edition_004 evolves from the last. This also applies to the label\u2019s design process, where carefully selected references help steer each collection in a particular direction. For this season, they are drawn primarily from Aldo Fallai\u2019s photographs from the late 1970s and early 1980s, documenting the work of the late Giorgio Armani.<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n
