A car is often as big a part of the family as a pet. Some name their motor with as much care as naming a child, and we are sometimes fiercely loyal to the car we choose to buy, going back to the same beloved model time and again. The Japanese car maker Toyota<\/a>,<\/strong> with its model the Corolla, at its peak, saw around 270,037 being driven on British roads. Still a much-loved car in the UK, Toyota reveals artworks celebrating the Corolla\u2019s enduring popularity. Just announced are the results of the Corolla Great British Art project. This is a project where artistry meets in the fast lane, where the art of cars collide. The Corolla Great British Art project challenged artists to produce works celebrating the enduringly popular Corolla hybrid, which is, of course, a car made in Britain at Toyota\u2019s Burnaston factory<\/a><\/strong>, South Derbyshire. An exploration of the brand’s humour at its own legendary status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
