Yes, we are sure that you still remember the first lines of Shakespeare’s Macbeth that you might have learned in language arts at school (surely more pain than pleasure at that time…) and of course, many more of his masterpieces are still very present in our heads.
\nAs we are marking the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death in April, it is more important than ever to celebrate his glorious collection of work. However, many of us seem to back off from classic literature. Yes, we do agree that this type of literature can be challenging, but that does not mean that you cannot enjoy Shakespeare’s brilliant work. Much ado about Shakespeare – The life and times of William Shakespeare in a literary picture book<\/a> written and illustrated by Donovan Bixley<\/a> can be described as a very modern response to Shakespeare’s classics. While Donovan Bixley has written and illustrated over 70 books, his new book is solely dedicated to Shakespeare and his life.<\/p>\n
