That meant any \u00a0fragrance had to be made from Spanish ingredients and had to to bottled \u00a0packaged and marketed \u00a0in Spain. \u00a0When the British\u00a0travelled\u00a0to Spain Costa del\u00a0Sol for their slice of sun and sand, they could walk in to any chemist and buy quite frankly excellent perfumes. \u00a0This was\u00a0because\u00a0the\u00a0Spanish\u00a0were\u00a0unable\u00a0to\u00a0rely on anyone else to help the in producing scent. \u00a0Ingredients\u00a0had to be grown in\u00a0the\u00a0country \u00a0so many scents were heavy with citrus which grew with ease. \u00a0The Spanish basically had to learn how to create wonderful perfumes from within.<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\" style=\"color: #c0c0c0;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">T<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">his doesn&#8217;t mean that the history of\u00a0Spanish\u00a0perfume only started after 1939. \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ramonmonegal.com\/\">Perfumer Ram\u00f3n Monegal,<\/a>\u00a0belongs to the most important family of perfumers in Spain. He is in fact the fourth generation of the founders of Myrurgia, the house that supplies the Spanish Royal House, and <a href=\"http:\/\/ramonmonegal.com\/author.php?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Ram\u00f3n<\/a> was their most important and international representative. \u00a0<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Monegal then licensed perfumes for brands like Adolfo Dominguez, Antonio Miro and\u00a0Massimo Duti. \u00a0In 2000, the Puig Group acquired Myrurgia and <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ram\u00f3n <\/span> was asked to continue creating successful new fragrances for the group.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In 2007 he left the company in order to start a personal project, one he had dreamed of for many years, because for him perfume becomes art only when accompanied with absolute creative freedom, something he could only achieve working on his own.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The collection now boasts \u00a0over 17 fragrances all created with utter love and passion. \u00a0The newest one to the story and the most personal which sums up <span style=\"color: #000000;\">Ram\u00f3n<\/span> &#8216;s love\u00a0for his native Spain, the new fragrance, Fiesta. \u00a0From rose petals to leather hides the perfume infuses the many strata of Spanish life. Starting with top notes of raspberry,\u00a0aldehyde complex, carrot, sea molecule and peach.\u00a0With middle notes consisting of tuberose, rose iris, osmanthus and cedarwood, with base notes of amber, leather oakmoss, musk, helitrope alongside cotton candy. \u00a0This is not a fragrance for the light hearted it is a full-bodied, rich, luxurious perfume that is complex in its layering. \u00a0The undertones of leather come through to create something reminiscent of \u00a0sun-baked earth; after all this is Ramon&#8217;s ode to his beloved country.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"small-10 small-centered medium-4 medium-offset-1 medium-uncentered columns\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In fact, the perfume is very much on trend. \u00a0Fragrance seems at the moment to be splitting into two clear sectors. \u00a0Those that are seemingly light fresh and green and those that are heady full bodied and unapologetically &#8216;loud&#8217;. \u00a0These are fragrances for those that not just understand the complex world of niche fragrance but also for those lovers of scent. \u00a0Those not afraid to walk in a room and announce they have arrived. It is worth noting this is limited edition with each bottle being numbered with only 2016 being created. \u00a0It has launched this July so if you are a fragrance fanatic go and get this now.
