Yesterday we got the privilege to attend the Scoop and the City<\/a> trade-show, where fresh designers present their spring\/summer 2017 lines. Not only did we view the new collections (and speak to the fabulous designers behind them), but we also ran the Twitter and Instagram for the event! Read more to see some of our favorite designers and their work, with themes ranging from Indian chic to soft and flowing with also a hint of asymmetric disco touches.<\/p>\n

Ruth Erotokritou\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Using pom-poms, tassels, bright colors (juxtaposed with brown), and even the evil eye, the Middle East was truly captured in in Ruth Erotokritou<\/a>\u2019s knit wear! Their beachy bags had us truly seeing double!<\/p>\n

Ziio Jewllery\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

In creating a paisley type of design, Ziio jewellery<\/a> uses a combination of semi-precious stones, silver, and Murano glass beads to create her eclectic and fascinating pieces.<\/p>\n

Celia Gould<\/strong><\/p>\n

While her husband Matthew Gould was the British ambassador to Israel, Celia Gould<\/a> began taking photos of the beautiful nation. Years later, Celia has taken these images and printed them onto beautiful silk scarves, providing consumers with gorgeous pieces of the country! Definitely one of our favorites from the day.<\/p>\n

Corita Rose<\/strong><\/p>\n

Corita Rose<\/a>\u2019s small bags with vibrant, lively colours and patterns had us going mad! The wild and fun nature of these bags encaptured us yesteday.<\/p>\n

Lemon Jelly\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

When walking past Lemon Jelly<\/a>\u2019s stand, not only were we drawn in by the wonderful scent of lemon, but also the brand\u2019s stunning shoes! From boots to sandals to sneakers, Lemon Jelly produces the most durable, shiny, fashionable shoes that are not only wearable, but comfortable!<\/p>\n

Cabinet Jewllery\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Cabinet Jewellery<\/a>\u2019s vibrant collection for this coming season really caught our eye. The Swarovski Peach Pearl Sequin Pom Pom earrings were among some of the beautiful statement pieces they were presenting.<\/p>\n

Save My Bag<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who doesn\u2019t love a comfortable, stylish tote? Save My Bag<\/a> has created fashionable bags in stunning colors and patterns, that are also washable! This simple but original idea made Save My Bag one of our favorites of the day!<\/p>\n

St Erasmus<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Fun colours, patterns, and textures were all involved in St Erasmus<\/a>‘s\u00a0S\/S collection. Using pearls, pearls, and more pearls, St Erasmus had us loving their collection from the first glimpse!<\/p>\n

Knitss<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

When first seeing Knitss<\/a>\u2019s collection, we were astonished by both the colours and the athletic fabric. This collection is definitely wearable, but with a creative, edgy touch.<\/p>\n

Lulu Guinness<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nWe got a sneak peak preview of Lulu Guinness<\/a>\u2019s collection for this coming season and all we can say is that it most definitely lives up to the fabulousness of the brand.<\/p>\n

GH Bass<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ever since 1876, GH Bass<\/a> has been creating and recreating the loafer, and yesterday we saw a new spin on the style! Using fringe, colour, and other unexpected alterations, these shoes were one of our favorites, as we sure love a classic with a spin!<\/p>\n

Kate Spade<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

With pom-poms being a trend for the S\/S 2017 season, we were astonished at how Kate Spade<\/a> took the approach- jewels in the shape as pom-poms! This original approach had us excited for the rest of their collection to come.<\/p>\n

Sherene Melinda<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Following the African inspired trend that was present throughout many of the brands at the trade show, Sherene Melinda <\/a>displayed her new leather cross body bags and handbags for the season. Varying textures and vibrant colours were the main focus of the collection with the signature Springbok hair-on-hide feature on every bag.<\/p>\n

Petusa Paris<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Since African and Indian themes were in for this season, it\u2019s only appropriate that Petusa Paris<\/a> played upon these ideas. Using large feathers, raffia, and safari colors, these hats caught our attention!<\/p>\n

Wolford Fashion<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Draping clothing was a prominent theme at this year, especially seen by Wolford Fashion<\/a>, who even had their manikins lounging around! These louche pieces were wearable, stunning, and had us excited for S\/S 2017<\/p>\n
