The world of fashion and art have aligned this month and we have chosen three exhibitions which showcase work through a variety of diverse creative mediums.<\/p>\n

Max Mara has unveiled their coats! exhibitions, at the Dongadaemum Design Plaza in Seoul, an enthralling exposition on the brand’s coat history, while illustrating the evolution of the coat and how\u2019s it cemented itself as a staple in today\u2019s age. Visitors can delve into over 60 years of history, moving through seven themed rooms a series of the modern-day wunderkammer, packed with garments, sounds, memorabilia and interactive features representing the vision that moved Max Mara’s founder, Achille Maramotti: “to make the ordinary extraordinary”.<\/p>\n

It has been another big year for JW Anderson recently winning British Designer of the Year and Accessories Designer of the Year for Loewe. And now another JW Anderson Workshop with Joanna Wason is upon us and for the first time, with Anne Low. Joanna Wason work spans over 40 years and was discovered by Anderson at an antique auction and became mesmerized by her work. She has designed collection of ceramics, consisting of 51 bottles, bowls, dishes and pots; in white porcelain white\/pink porcelain; blue slipware, animal\/fire glaze slipware, stoneware\/porcelain with dark iron glaze and porcelain with iron glaze. Prices range from \u00a360 – \u00a3280, exclusively for the JW Anderson Workshops. Artist Anne Low\u2019s work engages with the history of textiles and her installations speak to wider narratives around the impulse to individuate surface, object and self. The collection for JW Anderson Workshops consists 3 products in different sizes and shapes, all in white colour. Prices range from \u00a380 – \u00a3150.<\/p>\n

Continuing his astounding year, Jonathan Anderson has curated his third installment, Chance Encounters III, in LOEWE Miami design district store. Anderson has selected three artists, British painter Richard Smith, Irish ceramicist Sara Flynn and Sri Lankan photographer Lionel Wendt, to represent different creative mediums across fabric sculpture, ceramic and photography. \u201cArt and craft are always at the centre of my creative process and these exhibitions are an exciting way of exploring artists that are important to me. I love the unexpected things that happen when people from completely different worlds are brought together, the antagonism can create something completely new\u201d.<\/p>\n
