Who doesn\u2019t instantly recognise the 1950\u2019s beauty icon who, ever since the Golden Age of Hollywood, has graced the screens with her elegance and charm in notable films such as Breakfast at Tiffany\u2019s, and her very first film role in Roman Holiday, for which she was commended oh so justly with an Academy Award, a Golden Globe,\u00a0<em>and<\/em> a BAFTA. Yet her story was not always a fairy-tale, but the sufferings and struggles of her early life in WW2 didn\u2019t stop her from becoming a humanitarian and consequently a UNICEF Goodwill ambassador later in life. So, in recognition of both her role in popular culture as well as her philanthropist contributions, in celebration of her legacy on the 25<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary her death, \u201cAudrey Hepburn: Beyond the Screen\u201d will be showcased from 17<sup>th<\/sup> August \u2013 30<sup>th<\/sup> September 2018 at Proud Central, London. It will be a most beautiful curation of rare portraits of Hepburn, shot by a selection of high profile 20th-century photographers, such as the likes of Terry O\u2019Neill, Norman Parkinson, Bob Willoughby, Eva Sereny, Mark Shaw and Douglas Kirkland. Each photographer, through their unique style, captures all aspects of Hepburn\u2019s idiosyncrasies: her childlike excitement and playful sense of humour as well as her distinct sophistication.<\/p>\n<p>And if you fancy your very own memorabilia of Audrey Hepburn, you can pick up a \u201cLittle book of Audrey Hepburn\u201d by Caroline Jones.
