His most recent exhibition captures Tokyo, where James\u2019\ndrawing style developed from the standard watercolour \u2013 to the use of Fineliner\npens \u2018on top\u2019 of washes and blocks of grey. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His\nwork often attempts to convey the unique atmosphere created by people passing\nthrough in crowded situations, he \u2018likes the idea of recording what happened\nwhilst there, rather than just the structures present.\u2019 He initially used copic\nwide and original marker pens in his work to cleverly capture the London city\nstructure and the fragile outlines of people passing through. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The development of his style of art has progressed over the years and\nrecently he has started experimenting with other types of media like acrylic\npaint pens to create more abstract captures. He has also experimented\nwith more alternative types of application\nmethods like clingfilm, used credit cards and fingers, fingernails and knuckles.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His\nupcoming exhibition \u2018Impressions of Tokyo\u2019 will be displayed for private\nviewings on the 27<sup>th<\/sup> of August 2019 between 6.30 \u2013 8.30 pm at \u2018The\nFormer Newington Library.\u2019 It will then continue as an exhibition from the 28<sup>th<\/sup>\nAugust to the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> September 2019 between 12pm \u2013 5pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">James also\nsells his signed original pieces of work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Check out his work on his website \u2013 <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"https:\/\/jamescyrilgardiner.co (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/jamescyrilgardiner.co\" target=\"_blank\">jamescyrilgardiner.co<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/jamescyrilgardiner.com\">m<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Find out more about the exhibition here &#8211;
