It\u2019s that time of year again, no, not Christmas.\u00a0 I\u2019m referring to ‘that’ time of year my complexion is really dull and flat.\u00a0 The fight to combat a lifeless skin, and its an issue on two fronts, colour and hydration. Firstly, not only is there no trace of my summer sun-kissed glow but the autumn residue has also truly faded.\u00a0 On the second front, during the colder months; the heating absorbs every last drop of oil from the surface of my skin.\u00a0 And to top, it all every ounce of moisturiser is entirely absorbed within ten-seconds of application. However, all is not lost, I do have a couple of faithfuls I always turn to during the cold winter months.  They’re my beloved Bobbi Brown Extra Illuminating Moisture Balm and Sisley\u2019s Instant Glow Primer.  They\u2019re in constant use from around the end of November until mid-May.  As a final layer on top of my moisturiser, they bring back the life my lifeless complexion sorely craves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For a one-time acne skin type who hated any form of shine on my face, I\u2019m now all about a \u2018glow\u2019.  As I’ve gotten older I appreciate a \u2018radiating\u2019 complexion and its representation of youth.  Those of you with an oily skin type or who are under twenty-five years of age may not fully recognise where I\u2019m coming from\u2026 but you will one day.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
