It is in the heart of the mythical London store Selfridges, a world-renowned temple of innovation and luxury, that Maison Barrois unveils its olfactory creations, wrapped in poetry, demand and timeless elegance.
“We can’t wait to share our magic within the walls of Selfridges”

Behind this arrival lies the story of a creator with a singular background. With ten years in the demanding workshops of Dominique Sirop and Jean-Paul Gaultier, Marc-Antoine Barrois founded his own Maison de couture, an independent place where tailor-made rhymes with creative audacity. But in 2016, a new adventure began: that of perfumes.
In collaboration with his friend, the visionary perfumer Quentin Bisch, they imagine together fragrances that tell stories, far from the expected standards. From the mineral leather of Ganymede, rewarded and become iconic, to the floral freshness of Tilia, through Encelade, each essence is a fragment of the universe, a piece of a dream captured in a bottle.

Their latest creation, Aldebaran, launched at the Design Salon in Milan in an award-winning immersive installation, embodies this bold optimism unique to Maison Barrois and is exclusive to Harrods. In 2025, poetry will extend to a collection of elegant white shirts, witnesses of discreet and sincere know-how.

This partnership with Selfridges is therefore not trivial. A true laboratory of ideas and sustainable initiatives, the London department store has been known for reinventing the shopping experience for more than a century, transforming its spaces into places of exchange, creation and reflection.
“At Selfridges, we like to go beyond expectations by bringing together brands that embody craftsmanship, creativity and a singular vision”
Jasmine Gerring, perfume buyer at Selfridges store
Marc-Antoine Barrois’ installation in Selfridges perfumeries, whether in London, Birmingham or Manchester, is part of this desire to sublimate rare know-how and meaningful brands. Respectful of the environment, Maison Barrois focuses on sustainable ingredients and eco-responsible packaging, faithful to its commitments.

In the cosy world of luxury, few houses are able to combine sincerity, imagination and respect. Marc-Antoine Barrois, on the other hand, is not content to create perfumes: he sculpts memories, awakens emotions, and invites everyone to rediscover their own olfactory universe.
History is now written in Selfridges. The scent of a new chapter.
