Hey, it’s spring. Finally, the days are getting longer, the air feels fresher, and everything just feels a little lighter. There’s something about this time of year: the way the sun peeks through the trees, the scent of fresh rain on warm earth, and the first burst of colour from flowers pushing through the ground. It’s that familiar mix of excitement and renewal, like shaking off the heaviness of winter and stepping into something brighter. And isn’t that exactly what we’ve been waiting for? Find out more in Spring Flowers Alive In The Air, Heavenly Bottled.

Spring has its own way of waking up the senses. It’s the soft crunch of new grass underfoot, the crisp morning air brushing against your skin, and the juicy, sun-warmed scent of Wild Strawberries ripening.
And then, there’s Bluebell, delicate, airy, almost otherworldly, the kind of scent that drifts through the woods like a secret. Spring sneaks up on you, subtle but irresistible, like a quiet invitation to breathe a little deeper, to notice the world a little more.
There’s something almost cinematic about it, walking through a forest still shaking off winter’s chill, where the ground is damp and rich with life, the air humming with the first stirrings of warmth.
You take a step, and breathe in, all earthy and fresh. There’s dew on your skin, a sharp little reminder of the morning, and somewhere in the distance, the bright red-green shimmer of Wild Strawberries catches your eye.

Just past them, a patch of Bluebells, their soft, bell-shaped blooms swaying gently, filling the air with their cool, floral whisper. Spring isn’t loud. It doesn’t need to be. It arrives in waves of colour and scent, in the quiet certainty that something new is beginning.

And what if you could bottle that feeling? That’s exactly what Molton Brown has done with their latest fragrance, Bluebell & Wild Strawberry. It smells like the moment winter melts away, fresh, sweet, a little earthy, and full of life.
The fragrance opens with the radiant sweetness of Wild Strawberry, ripe, juicy, and bursting with the kind of sun-kissed warmth that lingers on fingertips after picking fresh fruit. It’s that first taste of spring, a little nostalgic yet filled with the promise of something new. As it unfolds, the delicate charm of Bluebell drifts in, airy and cool, like a breeze moving through woodland just waking from winter’s grasp.
Then, the heart of the fragrance takes shape, Violet Leaf, crisp and green, adding a subtle earthiness that balances the sweetness. It’s the scent of crushed leaves underfoot, a fleeting yet grounding moment that gives the composition a touch of natural depth.
Finally, as the fragrance settles, the warmth of Amber unfurls, golden and soft, casting a gentle glow that deepens into the smooth embrace of Driftwood. There’s something undeniably comforting about it, like the warmth of sunlight stretching across a forest floor at the end of a spring afternoon.
Molton Brown has been crafting fragrances for over 50 years, and they just get it. They know that scent isn’t just about smelling good, it’s about feeling something, about memories and moments and taking a deep breath and being transported somewhere else. With Bluebell & Wild Strawberry, they take us straight into that first walk through the woods in spring, where everything feels fresh and new and full of possibility.
And what makes this one even more special? It’s a true collaboration of artistry. The fragrance comes from the mind of perfumer Véronique Nyberg, who grew up surrounded by the Alpine forests of France. For her, spring is all about contrast, soft petals against sturdy branches, bright colours popping against deep green landscapes, and she poured that inspiration straight into the scent.
Another voice adding to this creative harmony is Ancuta Sarca, a London-based shoe designer known for her playful, unexpected creations made from upcycled materials. Her unique perspective brings the fragrance to life in a new way, turning scent into something visual, something tactile.
This collaboration is part of Molton Brown’s ongoing Artists of Note series, an initiative that invites creatives to reimagine the brand’s fragrances through their own artistic lens, exploring the deep connection between scent and self-expression.
For this iteration, Ancuta Sarca, the innovative show brand, crafted a design inspired by the essence of Bluebell & Wild Strawberry, a modern take on the traditional bluebell, infused with her signature aesthetic. As an alumna of the acclaimed Fashion East incubator programme, she has built a reputation for merging deadstock materials with unexpected silhouettes, transforming heels and trainers into bold, unconventional shapes.
Her conscious yet playful approach has led to collaborations with Nike, Dion Lee, and Crocs, as well as a devoted following that includes Rihanna, SZA, Bella Hadid, and even Cher.
Sarca’s signature pointed kitten heel makes the deadstock velvet-and-leather mules instantly recognizable, a seamless extension of the fragrance itself. Inspired by the scent’s duality, she mirrors its balance of delicate florals and grounding warmth.
The result? Shoes that are soft yet structured, vintage yet futuristic, capturing the very essence of spring. They don’t just pair with the fragrance; they bring it to life in a new form, transforming scent into something tangible. Fashion and fragrance move in harmony here, each amplifying the other, creating a sensory experience that lingers far beyond the bottle.
And while the perfume is the star, the collection doesn’t stop there. The experience of spring is also about layering, about surrounding yourself with those fresh, airy notes that make the season feel alive.
The Bath & Shower Gel transforms an everyday rinse into something indulgent, letting the fragrance swirl around you like a spring breeze. Another piece of the collection is the Body Lotion, soft and silky, sinking into your skin and holding onto that delicate scent for hours. It’s a whole little springtime ritual, and honestly, we’re here for it.
Because spring isn’t just something you see, it’s something you feel, something you breathe in and carry with you. It lingers in the air, in the scents that wrap around you, in the way everything feels a little lighter, a little newer. And if you could hold onto that feeling just a little longer, wouldn’t you?
