The story’s quiet intensity, centred on love, absence, and the delicate rituals of connection, informs every element of the composition. The passage forms the emotional core of the fragrance, focusing on the quiet intimacy felt in the absence. Azumah Nelson’s prose is spare yet emotionally charged, each line pulsing with rhythm.

Melody opens with bright, crisp notes of Blackcurrant and Bergamot, offering a fleeting bright sweetness that gives way to a green, slightly earthy stem accord. The herbal lift of Basil adds freshness and clarity. At the heart, Rose Damascena Absolute lends depth and softness, contrasted with Lavender and a refined Tea note for a subtle, contemplative floral impression. As it dries down, a warm blend of Vanilla, Cashmere Wood, and Cedarwood is gently wrapped in white Musk; a soft, clean signature that lingers close to the skin.
