Created entirely by Lucy Hegarty in West Cork, Ireland, La Bougie is an independent niche perfumery that takes pride in its exquisite blend of aromatics and perfumed oils.

Their perfume, Cedar Atlas, is a reflection of the brand’s origins. It’s an echo of nature; the ingredients take you on a journey of ‘greenness’. Green, like a cool walk after a rainy day, through an Irish forest.

The fragrance opens with Atlas Cedarwood, bringing a warm, woody, and slightly sweet scent, with facets of balsamic notes and a touch of smokiness.

Its heart is a reflection in the art of Oudh, with earthy and woody tones alongside hints of musk and animalic undertones.

With a final touch of Thyme, its herbal and slightly minty note laced with subtle floral and earthy streaks that lift and freshen the base.

The dryness of the Cedar Wood blended with the sweet spiciness of Oudh and the herbal sharpness of thyme creates a weightless yet harmonious contrast.
