What if this collecting habit were to add a final touch to your home? Diptyque created a collection called City Candles, only available in the city they are named after. Cities can be associated with their different features that make them famous. From food to art; from language to fashion; from landscape to architecture. While visiting a city, you may remember it specifically for one of these features, yet Diptyque decided to add scent to the list with their city-exclusive candles. Each candle is only available in the city it is named after.

From Paris, Miami, New York, Seoul, Berlin and more, Diptyqe recently added Milan to the list of their city candles.Very much in celebration of their new store that just opened during Milan Salone design festival.

The candle captured the emblematic spirit of the Italian town. Its perfumed notes encapsulate the very soul of the city with a scent characterised by a sun-drenched floral blend elevated by the floral green notes of Geranium and soft spice of Cardamom notes and woody undertones. The packaging, its white case with vibrant green, is inspired by the architecture and elegance of Milan.

Pick up the candle in the Milanese shop and link this Diptyque candle to your latest trip to Milan. In your living room, bedroom or even kitchen, every time the candle is lit, the memories of the Italian restaurant you ate at in front of the Duomo di Milano; the first time you saw the Last Supper of Leonardo DaVinci in front of you, or even when you visited Sforza Castle will be relived

While you would normally only be able to buy any of the city candles in their respective stores in the respective cities, a yearly exception is made. You will be able to buy a specific city candle and not have to go to the respective store, but from any global Diptyque store for a limited time only.

This year, from April 11th to April 21st, you will be able to buy any of the Diptyque city candles, including the Milan scent, from all of the brand’s shops worldwide and on their website. A great occasion to collect the candles from your previous trips or to maybe give you an idea for your next holiday.

Once the offer is over, that’s it, unless you go Milan where there are two shops or to the brand new Milan Diptyque located in Via Manzoni, to buy the Milan scented candle.

The new shop is inspired by the Maison’s very first boutique, 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris. Created over two floors, the building is filled with expert craftsmanship. The poetry of the creations forming the space is the very essence of Diptyque. With tactile textures and colour blocks downstairs and a living room feel with a curved sofa and red walls upstairs, complete with hand-woven fabric panels hung on either side of the fireplace.
