Velvet, leather, buckles and lace…Giuseppe Zanotti, the creative behind many an iconic stage heel, has just launched an exclusive second collection in collaboration with Jennifer Lopez. Zanotti recently custom-designed some stunning new footwear for Lady Gaga’s current world tour.
Asking what the renowned designer has to say about working with some of the music industry’s most celebrated artists:-
“Music is part of my DNA, I constantly immerse myself in it and it has always been a great inspiration for my collections. I always find it a true privilege to collaborate with a variety of artists of different genres, I get to learn their creative processes and their thoughts, which become a new source of information for me. Working together, we are able to showcase our passion and energy and encapsulate both – style and my own.
I admire Lady Gaga’s style and it has been thrilling to collaborate with her on several pieces for her ‘Joanne’ World Tour to create playful and edgy designs. The block heel has worked perfectly for the tour’s remarkable dance numbers and the colour variations have complemented the show’s many exciting costume changes.”
