Which New Perfume This September Will Tick Your Box?
Some scents love to sell themselves as cool and grungy, some choose to see themselves as the essence of a place, whilst others offer peace and tranquillity. What’s your choice this September?
1. Wild Horses By The Rolling Stones
Some brands want to be rock ‘n roll, but this new perfume collection just is. Amongst the wide array of merchandise that The Rolling Stones have, fragrance is a new and fresh endeavour that seeks to stress the band’s legacy.
It invites the wearer to imagine the world of the 60s Soho club scene, where The Rolling Stones took their roots. Every spray is wrapped in the tart smoke of tobacco and the electrifying guitar.

Each scent is titled with the band’s five iconic tracks. ‘Sticky Fingers’ is all about lingering Patchouli pressing against fleeting desire, and heady Bourbon cascading into Wanton Abandon. ‘Satisfaction’ is a spicy and seductive, unisex fragrance crafted with an emphasis on Woody accords. ‘Urban Jungle’ incorporates Citrus-laced hemp and worn leather, brawling in a crucible of hot concrete as the night crackles on.
Then, one of their most famous tracks, ‘Paint It Black’, where Sandalwood, Musk and Patchouli are doused in wild lust, leaving behind notes of burning Oud and an exhilarating sense of anarchy.
Finally, ‘Wild Horses’ opens with refreshing top notes of Rose and Aquatic, into mid notes of calming Jasmine, light Peony, spicy Pink Peppercorn, and Salty Tears. The final lingering scent consists of base notes of creamy Musk, comforting Cedarwood, Amber and sweet and woody Tonka Bean.
The collection gives The Rolling Stones fans a chance to not just listen, but smell and bask in the essence of their favourite tracks.
2. Born In Roma ‘Ivory’ Donna By Valentino
The ‘Ivory’ scent is a limited edition sibling of the other fragrances under the ‘Born In Roma’ family, which returns for the third time this season. Blending addictive accords of Orange Blossom and Marshmallow, all while drowning the scent in fluffy Musk and Madagascar Vanilla, the parfum is a blend of extravagance and fire.
Getting dressed up all together for a party with a few girlfriends is often the highlight of the evening. This Rendez-Vous collection is inspired by the famous Studio 54 nightclub look, an iconic Broadway theatre studio and former nightclub. The scent embraces individual style and uniqueness.
Opening up with the addictive Green Mandarin and Orange Blossom accord, the scent establishes its freshness. Then, transitioning into a soft Marshmallow accord for a sweet, feminine touch, and leaving behind a veil of Madagascar Vanilla and Musk, the fragrance is sensual. It certainly makes space for a sparkling evening gown, with the perfume sprayed on the bare skin of the neck.

3. Born In Roma ‘Ivory’ Uomo by Valentino
The masculine twin of the Born in Roma ‘Ivory’ Donna, this fragrance is unapologetically sophisticated, yet playful. The focus of this collection is on radiant sensations. The fragrance blends the pungent Lavandin and citrusy Bergamot with the sexy Fireplace accord.
It is an amber scent, opening with vivacious Bergamot, then transitioning into the sharpness of Lavandin, which gives the perfume its refreshing texture. The base note is a smoky Fireplace accord, which then evolves into a warm and woody scent as it rests on the skin. Perfect for a confident, adventurous man.
4. Dolce&Gabbana Devotion Pour Homme
This new scent is an addition to the preexisting family of Dolce&Gabbana Devotion, which was limited to feminine scents. Launched in 2023, it is originally an Amber fragrance for women, but now it is ready to serve all of D&G’s male devotees.
Dolce&Gabbana’s Devotion is a tribute to adoration and the beauty of being devoted to another. Or perhaps even more importantly, to be devoted to oneself and live a life of joy and fulfilment. After all, the brand was founded in the country of passion, Italy. The fragrance embodies a dedicated man with a confident disposition.

The opening notes are fresh and citrusy Lemon, shifting into the heart notes of the bracing aroma of Coffee. The final base note is earthy Patchouli, echoing the determination and charisma of the man whose instinct leads him to this fragrance.
5. Peony & Blush Suede Cologne by Jo Malone
This London special edition scent is part of Jo Malone’s support program for The Breast Cancer Campaign throughout October 2025. The bottle incorporates the Pink Ribbon, a universal symbol of breast cancer.
This fragrance is a delight in a bottle, capturing the scent of peonies in their full bloom, beautifully fragile. The juicy Red Apple note is fun and flirty, while the sweet Jasmine, graceful Rose and aromatic Gillyflower give it its opulence. Finally, the softness of the Suede uncovers a velvety luxury in the scent.
Jo Malone London will donate £20 from the purchase price of Peony & Blush Suede Cologne to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, up to a maximum donation of £12,000. This fragrance is not just a gift to oneself, but a chance to contribute to cancer research.

A brand initially launched in 2017, specialising in supplements and wellness, it transitioned into perfumery in 2019. Now, it combines the two to create scents that focus on amplifying pheromones. Using patented neuroscience technology to tap into different parts of the brain, the fragrances target various areas of vigour: from relaxation, to energy and sharpening focus.
To escape the stress of everyday life and tap into a state of stillness that can only be found in flora and fauna, look to new fragrance The Nue Co Forest Lungs. It takes inspiration from the Japanese ‘Shinrin-yoku’, a therapeutic forest bathing practice of immersing oneself in nature and activating the senses towards the natural sounds, smells, and views.
The Japanese culture is well familiar with the act of deriving relaxation from nature, and this fragrance aims to do exactly that. The perfume is woody and smoky, with clean Resin and fresh Citrus, perfect for strolling along a boulevard of fallen autumn leaves.
Formulated with earthy Vetiver, grounding Cedarwood and brisk Pine, as well as olfactory technology that replicates ‘phytoncides’, stress-relieving organic compounds found in trees, it is a mood-balancing fragrance supplement.

The fragrance opens with top notes of zesty Bergamot and pungent Pepper, into Pimento Berry, warm Cardamom, and Lentisque Absolute, with the final base notes of Cedarwood, musky Patchouli and woody Pine.
For the full experience of calm, The Nue Co advises spraying the fragrance onto pulse points. Then, to be taken on a mini meditation retreat, inhale for a count of four, hold for four, and finally exhale for those same four counts. Let the serenity of the forest enter the lungs.
Welcome Change Of Season With Confidence
Like a new dress, a new scent is a chance to refresh and enliven, whether that’s through embracing a rock ‘n roll edge or finding confidence with an elegant, flirty aphrodisiac. Or perhaps both: a lady in the day, and a rebel when the sun goes down. To each their own, but the beauty remains in selection and experimentation.
