October is in full amber bloom. Autumn’s middle child is all about warm knits, spiced hot drinks, and fallen leaves like a mosaic of coloured glass on the ground. There is a myriad of scents we associate with these cold yet cosy days, and there’s nothing as sweet as a demurely lingering fragrance, piercing through the layers of a woollen scarf. This new Tocca perfume, Laila, is feisty and apologetic. Embodying unadulterated decadence, all whilst saying ‘Have your cake and eat it too!’, Laila believes that you are on this Earth to take all you can get.
The perfume is warm yet fresh. Blending bright Citrus with grounding Amber and sultry Toasted Vanilla, then feminine florals that give it a playful innocence, Laila is one exciting bottle.
Opening with top notes of Green Mandarin, zesty Bergamot and an earthy Desert Rain Accord, it then transitions into a sweet and energetic scent palette. A mix of Jasmine Nectar, Lily of the Valley and spicy-green Cardamom Blossom creates a flirty body, and what remains as the deep bottom notes are Toasted Vanilla, creamy White Woods and shimmering Golden Amber.
The collection is flexible with its varying sizes, including bottles of 100ml, 50ml, and travel sprays in 20ml or 10ml. Laila also comes as a solid perfume that applies as a balm to the skin, melting on contact. Delightful to see a new fragrance from Tocca, their first in two years.

A new sibling fragrance to Bentley Fragrances’ previous success with Become, which was all about unfolding one’s story and self-discovery, Zenith Become takes a step further. It’s all about elevating one’s journey. Combining determination and ambition, this is a bold, confident scent.
Where crisp and metallic Violet Leaf meets rich, leathery undertones, Zenith channels refined masculinity and allure.
Opening with Top Notes of the aforementioned Violet Leaf, warm Cardamom and deep Cocoa, it invokes a sense of sophisticated comfort, perfect for autumn. It then transitions into smooth, musky Soft Leather, woody Papyrus and velvety Patchouli Gayo.
Finally, the base notes are a complex mix of sweet Vanilla, musky and clean Sublimolide and the rare mineralic note of radiant Ambergris. The palette is unique and daring; smooth, like the luxurious Bentley.

The opening note is crisp Green Apple, grounding Sage and bitey Pink Pepper. The heart of the perfume is graceful lavender, wild and slightly bitter Artemisia, and mouth-watering Cacao Absolute.
